Again there are many different types available, either wall or floor mounted providing different slew angles of up to 360 degrees. The free standing type illustrated is a light duty model providing a slew of 270 degrees. When access becomes awkward, a knuckle jib may provide the answer. Provision for an elbow in the jib arm allows even greater manoeuverability.
Shear legs
Alternatively reffered to as tripods, an indispensable lifting aid for site and utility work. Standard models range from 500kg to 5000kg lifting capacity. Adjustable, as illustrated, or fixed height versions can be supplied with spike, flat pad or rubber feet.
