On 1st of January 1948 Mr. Dietrich Hoffmann setup a machine manufacturing plant in Wurzen/Saxony, Germany. At the beginning the first products were made for the agriculture market. In 1953 the first electric chain hoist was launched. Since then hoisting equipment has always been the core product for Hoffmann.

Today a wide range of Liftket hoists is available suitable for all jobs, where loads of up to 25 tons have to be lifted. These products are manufactured by a highly motivated team of workers and developd by their experienced designers and engineers (about 10% of the whole staff).

Further to our production in Germany we are experienced, capable and willing not only to manufacture our sophisticated products but to convert them to our customers special requirements.

LIFTEKT hoists are marketed, sold and serviced in more than 40 countries around the globe. They are operated successfully under very different environmental conditions fed by various voltages and frequencies.

Electric Chain Hoists for Three Phase Supply

There are two product ranges available for electric chain hoists for industrial applications.

1        LIFTKET - hoists are well established in the market being in production for many years for capacities from 125kg to 12.5 tons.

2        STAR LIFTKET is the name for the brand new range, they have been available since July 2003.
          Currently they are for sale with a lifting capacity up to 25,000kg. This range of hoists incorporates latest technology and design ideas and benefits from together four patented solutions.

Both ranges will be in production for the future (except some single phase versions and the version 1.3), service and spare parts will be available for the foreseeable future.
