The STAR LIFTKET was developed with consideration of the latest knowledge in the hoisting business. It became one of the most advanced products in the market.
When they started to design the new hoist after 50 years of experience in the production of electric chain hoists the aims of our designers were:
High duty rate especially for areas with tropical climate.
- This was achieved by the use of a fan cooled motor with cooling ribs in the typical LIFTKET shape. The intelligent design of the special safety clutch-brake systems prevents the heat generated by the brake or clutch from influencing the lifting motor
Extremely maintenance free design with easy access to all wearing parts and changeability without need of special tools to grant safe working even in areas of our world where specialists are not available.
- This was achieved by following the module concept. Motor, sealed and oil filled gearbox and brake are changeable and ready for operation without any adjustment. Only the clutch would have to be adjusted.
Use of the first class materials are to grant and increase the quality and liability for all the parts and the technology .
- This was achieved by performing long term test procedures in our laboratories. The proofed life cycle of the parts exceeds the FEM requirements for the specific duty groups
Advanced safety by implementing of a new patented clutch-brake system.
- This was achieved by further development of the idea well known from LIFTKET which means not to have any sliding connections between load and brake.
Make a change from one chain fall to two or counterwise very easy, fast and safe.
- This was achieved by a patented solution not using any screws, pins or bolts.
Modern shape and design should be easily recognisable as a LIFTKET.
- This was achieved by using covers and parts of the housing with LIFTKET´s typical shape and colour
